We are so blessed to get to work with the most amazing wedding couples ever.  And Tim and Amanda are no exception.  We started out by playing on the famous train right by our studio.

It was so funny watching them trying to write backwards so their names would appear left to right in the photo.  But they did it!  Well, except for the reverse & sign…

Jeans and black tees.  These guys know how to dress like photographers!

Some people are just so much fun to work with.  Tim and Amanda not only followed the very small amount of direction I had for them, but they obviously were into the improv element of the day.

And we ended up at the famous Peggy Sue’s, which reminds me of an outdoor version of Jackrabbit Slim’s right out of Pulp Fiction.  Anyway, more bloggy blogs coming soon.  Stay tuned.  And we’ll see Tim and Amanda at a wedding really soon!

Can’t believe it.  Two blog posts in two days.  But this one will be almost as brief as yesterday’s!  I am going for quality, not quantity this week…

Steven and Heather got married in Denison, TX over the weekend.  Love the shoes details, as you know.

Man, I don’t remember the last Sunday that I had free.  But it’s OK.  I love shooting my couples.  At least until it gets cold again.  Then we may just have to slow down.

Wedding photography in Sherman, Denison and yes, Dallas is sooooo fun…

Man, we’re trying soooo hard to get caught up on our blogging.  But we had to take a little longer getting this shoot up because it was so dang amazing!

We met Brandon and Shelly at the studio about a month or so ago, and we all just hit it off as if we’d always known one another.  It took us like three minutes to develop insider jokes.  Well, actually, Jacki and I already knew one another, and so did Brandon and Shelly, but you know what I mean.

When they said for their engagement shoot, they wanted to do something really cool, of course, we were up for it.  Little did we know that they had rented the old Rialto movie theater in downtown Denison for our shoot.

The Rialto is a really interesting old movie theater – built in 1920 – with just the single screen and a balcony.  It was the first place I ever saw a motion picture in a theatre (Dr. No, the very first Bond).

But enough about me (as if that was possible)…let’s see some Brandon and Shelly.  First, onstage…

So obviously in love.

This is one of my faves of the day.  Just like the way it looks.

I am so much trying to get caught up on editing and blogging, and my facebook stalkers know that I am doing so while keeping dental appointments as well.  Let’s do a little catching up and have a look at a fun session we did a couple of weekends ago with Kris and Kalyn.  First look in our studio at the super cool Katy Depot in Denison.

Right outside our studio is this really historic hallway where some construction is currently going on.  But K & K kindly stopped so I could catch the moment.

No, Kalyn…don’t go in the dungeon.  Not the dungeon Kalyn.  No! No!  Not the dungeon…

I love photographic attitude.

Such a handsome couple.

And so fun to work with.

Don’t know about the high tides, but we have our share of green grass in North Texas this time of year.

I pulled over on the way to our last location because I thought I saw a really pretty weed picture in my head.

Kalyn is a Sooner…Kris is a Bear.  Of course, they’ll have to play tackle.

What a fun day and what a fun couple.  Can’t wait for the wedding!
