OK, let me brace you. This is going to be kind of an emotional post…
I think the comments the couple, David and Jodi left on my blog, kind of set the tone. I am sharing this with my readers because she put it on the blog, and so it must be OK for others to see it.

So it was a bittersweet time for the couple. So much to be happy about, so much to be sad about. But they were so supportive of one another, and their families and friends were so supportive of them, it was an unbelievable touching experience for all of us. I feel so blessed to have been there.
Now let’s try to get happy! The wedding itself took place in the lovely Wall – Robbins Historical House in Plano. Most readers of my blog know that I have an 87 year old home, so this was right up my alley.

Here’s Jodi. I think she’s just making sure everyone has the proper ID before allowing them to enter into the bride’s room.

And here’s David. Someone must have turned on the fan. Look at that tie go!

OK, we have the tie under control now.

And now some relaxed portraits of some of the people there…

Beautiful flowers and rings, oh my!

And now, the very emotional ceremony starts:

There were so many emotions going on at once.

Look at these two.

Thanks David and Jodi. It was a simply amazing experience, and I’ll be praying for David’s mom.
