Jacki on location again for this one…Chance and Ashley had a gorgeous wedding in McKinney’s Cotton Mill.  Chance and Ashley’s wedding was perfectly planned by Jennifer Reeves of A1 Weddings in Denison, Texas.  I’ve never seen a wedding planned by Jennifer that was anything less than spectacular.  The flowers and colors were just beautiful, and Jacki was on top of her game in capturing the mood, the details, and the love of this wonderful couple.  Take a look.  In the words of Charlie Daniels, ‘that’s how you do it, son.’

What does a wedding photographer do when there is snow and ice all over the ground?  Look to the melting icicles of course!

It was windy.  It was cold.  But it’s winter, and we knew the weather could be a challenge.  Undeterred, Mark, Candace and I had a wonderful time seeing the sights at Adriatica in McKinney, the beautiful Croatian style village that we have been enjoying so much lately.

I posted last week some cool shots from one of my absolute favorite venues, the incredible Adriatica in McKinney.  It’s a fairly new area that is modeled after a Croatian village.  Adriatica is a destination for shopping, office complexes, residential, and of course, my favorite…hosting weddings!

I thought I would post a few more so you can get a flavor for one of our very favorite places to photograph.  (I love to shoot engagement sessions here, too.)

This is Bella Donna Chapel.  The image of Christ above the door is from Italy and is 300 years old.

Here’s the gate leading into Bella Donna.  It’s also imported from Europe, and it’s 700 years old.

I just love the feel of this chapel, I love that it has windows so you can actually see during a service, and I just love the feeling of antiquity that they have been able to achieve, despite being so new.  I highly recommend Adriatica and Bella Donna Chapel!
